Pediatric Neuropsychologist Position (6/22)

Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH) is offering a 1.0 FTE Pediatric Neuropsychologist position in the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology. The candidate will join with the growing Sickle Cell Program at Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic as well as provide neuropsychological services to children with a variety of other medical, neurological, and developmental disorders in multidisciplinary and outpatient settings. This position will involve a primary focus on the population of children with sickle cell disease, but opportunities exist to work with other populations served by the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology and Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, including those with traumatic brain injury (including concussion), stroke, CNS infections, demyelinating diseases of the CNS, and other neurological conditions.

Primary responsibilities will include conducting outpatient neuropsychological evaluations and consultations, actively engaging and consulting with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care, providing education to families, and consulting with schools and community providers. Opportunities exist within SCH to participate in research, hospital-wide rounds and training opportunities, outreach and educational initiatives, teaching of psychology and medical trainees, and quality improvement projects within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic.
