Sharon Ashman is a Rehabilitation Psychologist and Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology at Seattle Children's Hospital, and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Ashman provides neuropsychological assessment services, consultation, and therapeutic services to children and adolescents with acquired brain injuries (e.g. traumatic brain injury, concussion, brain tumors, encephalitis, meningitis, stroke), and other forms of central nervous system dysfunction. Her work includes consultations with schools and community providers to develop appropriate educational programs and therapeutic interventions. Dr. Ashman is a Past President of the Pacific Northwest Neuropsychological Society and a former member of the Washington State Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership Advisory Council, the mission of which is to advise elected officials on the best ways to create and provide coordinated, accessible services and supports to promote optimal quality of life for individuals with traumatic brain injury and their families.
