Dr. Guzzardo is a Pediatric and Adult Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychologist who brings specialized knowledge, training, and experience to neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, sports neuropsychology, FAA Cogscreen and HIMS aerospace psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, and Independent Medical Evaluations.
Dr. Guzzardo has extensive specialized training in concussion/traumatic brain injury, birth injuries, autism spectrum disorders, cancer treatment effects, brain tumors, stroke, seizure disorders, genetic diseases, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, developmental and learning disorders, somatization, language and memory problems, substance abuse and dependency, and other neuropsychiatric and medical disorders. She is HIMS trained and conducts aerospace evaluations.
She sees children, adolescents, and adults through the lifespan.
Dr. Guzzardo received her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the APA accredited University of Southern California. Her graduate coursework included specialized training in pediatric and adult neuropsychology and she completed a clinical internship at the APA accredited Veterans Affairs Los Angeles Healthcare System, specializing in Adult and Geriatric Neuropsychology, Health Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Memory Disorders, Seizure Disorders, and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Guzzardo completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship, specializing in pediatric and adult Clinical Neuropsychology, at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital.
Dr. Guzzardo served for seven years, two years as Chairperson, on the Washington State Examining Board of Psychology. She is licensed in Washington and Idaho.
