Special PNNS Membership Meeting

  • 13 Jun 2022
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Zoom

Registration is closed

Feedback provided and dialogue generated following recent PNNS meetings have heightened awareness about the importance of providing feedback to one another. It is our goal to increase sensitivity to and education about diversity, equity and inclusion issues in our lives and in our work as neuropsychologists.  As such, we invite members to provide input about ways to enhance PNNS educational opportunities and to suggest other programs to benefit the patients/clients we serve, the membership and our profession.  Members are encouraged to participate in a Zoom meeting on June 13, 7:00 pm and/or via a survey to be sent out.  (In regard to the use of Survey Monkey, please note that a problem seeing/downloading written comments from course evaluations for the past few Monday meetings has been identified and fixed.)

Topic: PNNS Zoom Meeting

Meeting ID: 872 7215 1587

Passcode: 289271

Both the survey and the meeting will focus upon brainstorming ideas/getting input about the topics below.  By no means is this list considered exhaustive, but given it is the end of the PNNS programming year the goal was to keep focused on coming up with some specific ideas that can be implemented moving forward.  (The survey will also have space for any other ideas you may have, and of course bring your ideas to the meeting as well!)

  • Develop some group “Zoom” norms to be listed on a slide that will be on the screen at the start of each Zoom meeting.
  • Brainstorm about additional CE opportunities or other programs that PNNS could offer, especially as related to racial and cultural issues in neuropsychological assessment/clinical practice and professional interactions.
  • Seek input about a PNNS program, where interested junior and senior members of PNNS (potentially with the same neuropsychology practice interests) pair-up to provide mentorship.
